CLAIMTOP BLOG / PROFILE PICTURE
How to add a profile picture to Gravatar for ClaimTop
ClaimTop does not ask you to upload a profile picture. It securely derives your Gravatar address from the email used at registration. To display your own photo or company logo, add that exact email to Gravatar and choose its current avatar.
Confirm which email you used on ClaimTop
The connection is made by email. An avatar attached to a different address will not appear on your ClaimTop page, even when both addresses belong to you.
If you use several addresses, check the email field before continuing. ClaimTop keeps this registration email private; it is not shown as public contact information.
Create your Gravatar account
Open Gravatar and choose Sign Up. Enter your email address, open the confirmation message, and finish the account connection requested by Gravatar.
If you already have a Gravatar or WordPress.com account, sign in instead of creating another one.
Upload and adjust your picture
Open the Avatars section in the Gravatar profile editor. Choose Upload to select an image from your computer or phone, or use the camera option when available.
After uploading, adjust the image and select it as the current avatar. Gravatar shows the active image with a highlighted border.
Assign the picture to the same email
If the correct email is already listed, select it in the email menu and then choose the image you want to use. If it is missing, add it as a secondary email and confirm the message Gravatar sends to that address.
Gravatar can keep more than one email in the same account, and each email may use a different image.
Return to ClaimTop and check the result
Open your public page or the ranking again after saving the current avatar. Gravatar notes that external sites may take a little while to start using a new image.
If the picture is still missing, confirm that the email is identical, including the domain, and that the desired image is active for that address.
Frequently asked questions
Can I upload a profile picture directly to ClaimTop?
No. ClaimTop uses the Gravatar linked to the registration email, so profile pictures remain managed in one place. Upload or replace the image on Gravatar and keep the same email connected.
Does ClaimTop publish my registration email?
No. The registration email is kept private for identification, access, and support. A public contact email is a separate field and only appears when you choose to publish it.
Can a company use its logo?
Yes. A company can assign its logo or another authorized brand image to the email used on ClaimTop. Make sure you have permission to use the image.
Why did my new picture not appear immediately?
Gravatar says external sites may need a little time to use a newly selected image. Check the exact email and current avatar first, then refresh the ClaimTop page later.
